Sometimes loud high frequency noise starts without any action with audio, then only thing which can stop it, is a turning off everything from sound setting. These factors need to be taken into consideration when transitioning from before the band arrives to mixing with the band playing. So Im afraid about, if it can be hardware problem.

Virtual sound check CAN NOT replace the sound coming off the stage from the acoustic drums and any other sound reinforcement the band needs to be able to hear themselves on stage. A virtual sound check isn't a replacement for a band but a good way to have a reference of what a band will sound like in a new space. This can also allow you to adjust the mix of the band in a new space. This is why you find so many volume knobs and gain knobs when youre working with audio. If you go too loud at any stage, you can introduce peaking. This allows you to check the tuning of the room using the same audio signals that you have captured from a band's previous performance. This is because each piece of equipment has a correct volume range it is meant to operate in. This allows us to adjust some of the tone and processing of the audio signals before the band arrives to compensate for changes in a room when moving from venue to venue. (Horns maybe, but I don’t like the sound. This process is called Virtual Sound Check. When Santana lets loose with some of those legendary monster power chords which incidentally do get good and loud in the mix, unlike most rock records which suffer from compression and safe mixes I like to say that there is no stereo system on the planet that can play loud enough for me. With the ability to record a band's performance in it's entirety it gives us the option of playing the recorded material back without the band being there.

A computer and recording software Analog Consoles can be configured to multi-track record but would require a separate split or a direct recording out, and a separate interface that can accommodate multiple inputs from the board.
